wow.. i knew the guys im living with were wild , but they still manage to surprise me.

for some reason- im sure the reason was dum -they all decided to wear yellow shirts to go eat dinner. i of course made an excuse that i already ate so i couldnt join them tonight. anyways.. we had some fun with the camera and here are some pics :D

lately, the guys at the house and i have been having a blast! we watch movies, go out to eat, play tennis, tell jokes and just get along really well.. and this is what i wanted for my summer. how lucky am i?

my spiritual side has been going down hill for a long time. i realize that i depended on my fellow agape brothers alot, and now that they're gone.. i have been struggling. thank goodness i still have pastor gus and eddie to lean on. after talking to pastor gus, however, i have decided to become a more independent christian. it totally blew me away. i thought this summer would be hard, but now i see it as a blessing and opportunity to grow more mature in my faith! i hope this entry doesn't sound too preachy, its just whats been going through my head. its just miraculous how He works.

we saw 2 fast 2 furious last night, and it was hawt. i went into it with some low expectations but was plesently surprised. tyrese or whatever his name is turned out to be a decent actor- granted his role didn't call for any real dramatic scenes. so, we were all in the theatre and theres this scene where tyrese takes his shirt off.. of course all the girls scream and clap (how corny), u kno what im doing? im poking my gut and promising to do some more exercises! >:| darn u tyrese!

ok, so tell me if this is weird. some of teh fellas and i were driving somewhere i dont remember where, and its not relevent, so whatever -and the song "build me up buttercup" started playing. instantly we all started singing it. i mean really SINGING it. harmonizing and everything.. and i started thinking of that scene from Zoolander where all the male models are singing and dancing in the jeep. i was like, "i sure hope we don't look as gay as they did "

this is kind of a random thought, but have u ever met someone that u just could not get along with? no matter how hard u tried to like them.. im not thinking of anyone in particular, so dont worry guys. i just cant imagine having an enemy, like a real one.

i have been meeting pastor gus weekly, and it has been such a huge blessing in my life. i know he's extremely busy, but makes the time to come out to UNC and meet me 1 on 1. we don't plan anything to talk about, i just start off telling him how my week has been and so on. its more like a big brother-little brother relationship where he encourages me and directs me in the right direction. i admit somedays im like, "ugh.." but i know how much i am learning and growing from these meetings. for example, i have always been so discouraged that i could not keep a consistent quiet time- he suggested that i shouldn't put so much pressure on myself and to do quiet time my own way. so, now im doing quiet times everyother day and keeping a journal. (i still pray everyday)

of course we don't just talk strictly about spiritual stuff either, we talk about sports, marriage, and even funny stories from the past. for example, AJ- a young adult from church -was at a korean buffet one time and he was getting ice cream. well, he put some deng jang on his ice cream thinking it was fudge.. BAD IDEA! deng jang is "fudge" colored but the thing stinks to high heaven and tastes just yucky ..good thing eddie was there to warn him before he started eating ;p

i know i made u guys all jealous :D don't u wish u had such a great pastor? haha.

man, this is crazy but the spacecadets are no more! my cs clan has disbanded and its kinda weird. i knew we couldn't play forever but it just seems like a bad time to hang it up. we finally made a mark in the competitive scene with a move up in cgl. i was excited about the new level of competition in cgl-main.

the thing i worry most is losing touch with the friends i have made throughout this experience. it was a great ride while it lasted :D we really did improve and was a force to recon with. i wish everyone the best.

pete "split" tran - hey man, we were friends before and we will be friends after sc2. i love u dude, get back so we can hang out again.

poop, burn, sys, mav, and even fed - take care fellas, it was great while it lasted.

i wish we could have lanned before we disbanded so i could prove to u jerks once and for all that im not FAT! (im probably the skinniest guy in sc2)

this is my first and probably my last post on food, but i just had to say that if u never had a honey mustard chicken sandwich at the Carolina Brewery, u need to. like, right NOW!

that thing was awesome, it had bacon and swiss cheez on it too. usually i eat kind of in a hurry, but this time i took like 20 minutes on a burger. that should tell u alot. thanks kev, would probably never have had one if it wasnt for u.

haha, yup! i had my first fish burrito today at carburritos and it was delicious i would never had known the joys, if it wasn't for eddie.. /me raises the roof for eddie

i have finally picked up my guitar, JUANITA, lately, and im confident to say that i will be annoying my housemates soon enough with late night praise :D any requests? (NO SONGS THAT INVOLVE MORE CHORDS THAN C, G, D, A, and Em- NO EXCEPTIONS!!!)

man, i can't wait to get back home with my bros. i bet they grew/changed so much since last i've seen them. daniel and stephen, what a couple of knuckleheads. i had a pic of them wearing their banz on their heads, but i lost it ..and they wont take the pics over again. oh well, when i get back this fall.. I WILL HAVE pICS OF ALL OF US WITH BANZ AND ANYTHING ELSE I CAN THINK OF ON OUR HEADS, hahhahahaa. that will be swell

P.S. do NOT attempt to eat a meal while watching SEVEN- yes the movie with morgan freeman and brad pitt (or what i like to call the super segshi duo) but yea, i almost threw up my lunch.. everyone told me it was a good movie, but failed to mention how nasty it was.. >:|

i was reminded of that yesterday, when sun and i (yes sun and sung were hanging out) were joking about this girl that lives with us at the frat house. as we were laughing and walking into the house, i saw her from upstairs looking down at me. i felt like such an ass..

i always hated girls that would gossip and make fun of people, but i never saw it in myself. how arrogant and ignorant am i? now that i think about it, i remember plenty of times when i was making fun of people and just plain being a jerk. im not writing this post for sympathy, rather for u guys to look at urself in the mirror.

today in church, the pastor's message just slapped me in the face. this was definitely a wake up call for me, and i hope for u as well. i prayed for repentence and a change in my heart. from this day on, i refuse to make fun of anyone anymore- unless their my friends especially if their nickname is soob because, friends make fun of eachother all the time and i don't think its wrong as long as they know that ur not trying to hurt them.

been having alot of fun at the house lately, since its our 2 day break between summer sessions. we played poker (lost 2 bux :/), played axis and allies (me = winnar), and overrall just been having a gay ole time. gay as in happy.. not homo. poker was alot of fun since we got chips and everyone just put in 10 bux in the beginning. in the beginning i was on a hot streak, but of course it never lasts. (i blame han, dude is bad luck forreals)

ONE MORE MONTH TILL I GET BACK HOME! i can't wait. im hearing all these stories from people that are back home from school, and its making me sooo jealous. just wrestling with my brothers, eating momma choi's cooking, and having some manly talks with my father.. what more can i ask for? hahaha, oh yea! it would be extra great if my "best friend" (grandma lim) could come out to LA too.

this is random, but then again this whole entry has been ramblings so whatever.. i wish i was a carpenter. i think it would be awesome to work with ur hands and see something completed. i worked with my father when he was a foreman for a contruction company and it was really cool. i mean, i didn't do much of the hard stuff. but it was nice to just be out there. and being the son of the boss doesn't hurt either ;D he's one cool-cat.

OH, i have to tell u about this. ok, well my father- when he was a foreman -would need extra helpers and workers. so he would go to the neighborhood home depot (keep in mind this is in LA) and there would be a group of mexicans waiting there. apparently alot of construction people come by early in the morning and pick up some workers. anyways, my father tells me to get some workers while he goes in and gets some supplies. HAHAHA, i was all analyzing them and crap. "no that ones too fat.. hes too skinny.. i don't like that mustache.." hahaha, i wonder if thats how slave traders thought :/ i sooo wanted to be like, "let see some push ups! now jumping jacks!.. ur slack mister, ur cut!" and maybe even letting some of them vote each other off? alright, now im being ridiculous :x

so yea, i don't know how i got from saddam being caught while buying a harry potter book to being a mexican slave trader, but thats how my mind works. have a great one.
