jambo, rafiki.

ok, so when i was getting addresses to send out missions letters, i had trouble with certain individuals that couldn't get it through their thick heads that i needed their home addresses and not their email addresses. heres an example with my cousin young.

kmartshopper1282: yo cuz whats ur mailing address?
Wangja4682: wangja4682@yahoo.com
kmartshopper1282: give me ur mailing address so i can send u a missions letter
Wangja4682: wangja4682@yahoo.com
kmartshopper1282: yo cuz
kmartshopper1282: MAILING ADDRESS FOR A LETTER!
Wangja4682: wut u mean??
kmartshopper1282: no email address
kmartshopper1282: a letter as in with a stamp and envelope
Wangja4682: 8212 david lee lane clt, nc 28227
kmartshopper1282: thanks

scares me that we're related by blood..

my mother and grandmother went to korea for a few weeks. good for them! bad for my father and my 2 younger brothers.. see, the males in the choi family aren't gifted in- oh heck, ill just say it. we can't cook.

kmartshopper1282: so how u been?
NABBUNchingu: slow cuz of the food dad keeps feeding us..
NABBUNchingu: a man can only take so many big macs..
kmartshopper1282: lol
kmartshopper1282: hes just buying big macs?
kmartshopper1282: hes not even trying to cook?
NABBUNchingu: haha, the man can't even make spagehtti rite1
NABBUNchingu: = )
kmartshopper1282: haha
kmartshopper1282: remember when he tried to make neng myuhn??
kmartshopper1282: lol
kmartshopper1282: i love the man, but that was so nasty
NABBUNchingu: YES!!
NABBUNchingu: IT WAS JUSS NOODLES, WATER, AND ICE!
kmartshopper1282: saddest attempt ever
kmartshopper1282: i remember even he wouldn't touch it
NABBUNchingu: LOL!

that seriously was the nastiest neng myuhn ever. i dont even think he put a boiled egg in there.. love you dad!

lastly, we just had a missions meeting and pastor gus handed out these articles about "romances during missions trips." apparently these things happen often enough for there to be articles and a need for it to be discussed in all missions teams. i was skimming through it and i read this one part that said, "the beauty of kenya along with the excitement of God's work in the kenyan church seemed to help kindle a special warmth between them." lol. we all had a great laugh!

joy joy joy

i have church meetings almost everynight and everytime my roommates would ask me out for something, i would tell them i had a meeting to go to. of course its not that they need me to come out to have fun, but you always want your friend to come join u. anyways, lately its been gotten to the point where they dont even invite me out anymore because they know i have agape meetings.

although im not apologizing for having meetings, im saying u can miss ur friends.

today, when i came back to my room i saw this fortune from a fortune cookie on my desk. "a friend asks only for your time not your money" that sucker got me good!

roy and yush- they're some cool cats.

its nice to be with people that actually invite u out to things and want your company- instead of those that make plans and assume u can make it when they tell u about it 5 minutes beforehand.

anyways, i think im gonna take this chance to describe these two gents for all those that dont know them yet.

roy kim
better known as the ceo of tabulas.. but even better known and loved for being known as "the guy that pays for the check when we go to angus barn" haha. although we joke about not liking eachother- constantly, we have fun and have shared some nice times living in 305 lewis. the only shortcoming i can think for him is his tennis play, which from what i hear is improving greatly. however, all these reports of him becoming great is all coming from roy kim, himself. oh yea, he also brings up the whole "everyone that is a us citizen please raise ur hand" thing up way too much!

yush
he is sincerely one of the nicest, funniest, and coolest person i have met. its been a great 2 and a half years living together. we've had more than our share of laughs. i think i can sum up all i got to say about china with this one famouse quote. "u my boy, blue! u my boy!" hahaha, and ur just as old as that geezer in the movie too, hahaha.

so those are my roommates. may God bless them.
